Eligibility Criteria

Undergraduate program such as  BMC (Bachelor of Mass Communication), BMM (Bachelor of Mass Media), BJMC & BA-JMC, BA (Media & Communication), BSc (Animation & Graphics), BSc (Media Technologies) BMS (Bachelor of Media Studies): The aspirants must possess at least educational qualification of intermediate (10+2) or any other equivalent Education with a minimum aggregate for General Category of 50% & for SC/ST/OBC of 45% at minimum or should be appearing for the same in this year, 2022. A candidate who has completed their three or four-year diploma, from a recognized university with AICTE approval with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks can also apply for this entrance examination.

GMCET 2022 Application Form

Applicants can fill the application form for Global Media Common Entrance Test (GMCET 2022) online only by visiting the official website which is: https://gmcet.org Applicants should satisfy the minimum eligibility criteria of this entrance examination only then candidate will be able to fill the application form. While filling application form students are required to provide all the relevant and valid information. Except online mode the application form will not be available in any other mode.

Application Fee:

At the time of application form filling students are required to submit application fee of INR 1000/- to be able to take up the examination. Students should be aware of that application fee is non-refundable. An individual’s candidature will be substantiating only after the payment of the application fee is done.

How to Register?

·         To register for GMCET 2022 entrance examination one must go to the official website : https://gmcet.org/

·         Once you reaches the website you need to provide all necessary and valid information to get registered, but your information should be correct.

·         After completing the Step-2 , an auto-generated mail consisting  Username & Password will be sent to your registered email ID/Phone Number for future use.

·         Students are required to complete the payment by clicking on pay now after logging in to the portal.

·         After Proceeding towards the payment portal students can make payment through Credit card/Debit Card/Net Banking or UPI according to their convenience.

·         After successfully completing the above steps, one would receive the summary of application form summary on student’s profile page of GMCET as well as on student’s registered mail ID. Students are advised to download this application form summary & save it for future use.

Test Structure

The Global Media Common Entrance Test 2022 exam will be organized through Online Mode only, no other examination is available. Applicants will be assigned with a time slot to appear in the examination. Candidates are required to be present at least 15 minutes before the starting of the GMCET 2022 examination. Students will get the information about test slots of th exam a day before the examination will conduct and students will get the information on their registered mail and mobile number.

  • There will be total 100 Questions to be attempted by the students.
  • The examination Total marks will be 100.
  • Total 60 mins time period will be allotted to students to finish the examination.
  • MCQ’s will be there in the paper with only one correct attempt and paper comprises of 4 sections of 25 marks each.
  • In examination marking scheme student will get 1 mark for each correct attempt and for wrong answer there will be no negative marking.
