- It is very important to prepare a strategy before you start preparing for your examination.
- Understand which subject is easy for you to understand and which subject is hard or difficult for you.
- The subjects which are tough for you, you should spend more time preparing for other subjects.
- Find out how many hours you get after your school hours and make a timetable accordingly.
- There are many students who make a timetable which is actually practically not possible to work with.
- Talk to your teachers and ask them which books would be better for preparation of the subjects of your 12th class.
- Go through the syllabus of every subject very deeply and find out which chapters/units are easy for you to understand and which chapters/units are difficult for you to understand.
- Go to the library of the school and check reference books too.
- If needed you can borrow the book from the library or buy it and keep it for you when needed to study.
- Practice & Time Management – A lot of practice is needed in subjects or subjects which have numerical problems.Some of the subjects have numerical problems. Spend time on solving the problems, so you would be able to solve faster in the actual examination.
- Revision should be done on an everyday basis. Once the revision of old topics is over, spend extra hours on new topics.

- The students should have an idea of the paper pattern and get familiar with the type of questions asked previously in the model papers or previous year question papers.
- Answer the maximum number of class 12 model papers and you will understand your weak areas of the subject and you can rectify it.
- Improve your reading skills so that you can go through the question paper in the examination accurately and faster.
- Make a habit of writing 2-3 answers of any subject everyday, so that you have limited time on the exam day, you can write your answer a little faster than other classmates.
