Students from Open board are allowed to appear for the exam. A cross-stream option is available for the students; they are allowed to switch their streams which make it possible for commerce or humanities student to appear for particular subject of science etc. While the central universities only consider your CUET score, the state and other private universities may take a weightage of your 12th boards examination result too. The exam is divided into two shifts; also it is optional to appear for the second shift. Students must do a thorough revision of their syllabus from NCERT books of classes 11th and 12th. More weightage will be given to the section of General Awareness, this call for going through your daily newspaper and keeping updated on current affairs.

In the last few years, it has been observed that the National Education Policy is bringing a change in the education pattern, it’s becoming a way of Education for All program, making it easy for everyone to go for higher education and educating and keeping them aware. The new development on the stream change option, a combination of various subjects, introduction to regional languages and changes in the exam patterns are all positive signs for the students to grow and educate themselves in these changing times.
