CLAT Result 2024

CLAT 2024: Rule of the Tie Breaker

How many applicants are invited to the CLAT counselling 2024?

Soon after the results are announced, the consortium will offer CLAT counselling in 2024. It compiles a list of shortlisted candidates for the invitation. Applicants are invited to counselling five times as many times as there are seats available in each category. This indicates that about 15,500 applicants will receive invitations to apply for 3100 spots in five-year integrated BBA LLB programs. In contrast, about 3,300 applicants will receive invitations to the LLM program. Applicants will be invited based on their combined merit and preferences.

CLAT Counselling 2024

The CLAT counselling is done online by the consortium. Updates via email and SMS regarding their selection for the counselling will be sent to qualified candidates. They must pay the registration fee and register for counselling via the CLAT login page. The CLAT Counselling fee for the general category will be Rs. 30,000; and for candidates in the SC and ST categories, it is Rs. 20,000.

Participants in CLAT counselling 2024 will have their seat requests at national law universities taken into consideration. Seat distribution will be determined by merit plus preference. Candidates will have the choice to accept their assigned seat, request an upgrade, or withdraw from consideration for admission after it has been assigned. The designated institution will receive the NLU course fees from those who accept the admission offer.

CLAT Cut-Off

Analysis of CLAT Results 2024

Last year, the CLAT results were released on December 23, 2022, at approximately 11:00 am. The CLAT results and scorecards were made available online. Of the 100 highest-ranked candidates, 86 were subsequently admitted to NLSIU Bengaluru. It should be mentioned that the CLAT 2024 will consist of 120 marks, as opposed to the 150 marks awarded in the previous CLAT.
