Choice fillings are the most crucial step while applicants applying for counselling. After the result declaration, the qualified applicants need to apply for counselling and needs to register themselves for the process and upload the essential documents with the cancelled cheque asked by the authorities. The GGSIPU charge Rs.1000/- for the counselling process which is non-refundable. Candidates can fill their preference by visiting the official website ipu.admissions.nic.in. The online filling options have already been started and been extended by the IP University.
The round one choice filling starts on October 14, 2021 at 4’o clock and closed by October 17, 2021, at 11.50 pm. This is a mandatory step for IPU seat allotment. If missed by the candidate, there is no consideration of IPU seat allotment.
Steps of Choice–filling:
- Log In to the official website of GGSIPU University.
- Check all the institutes and colleges available as per your preference.
- From the given choices, set them in ascending order wise to keep your choices clear.
The seat allotment process depends on the choice filling as students can decide a shortlist of their first choices for institutes where they wanted to study. It is advisable to fille the maximum number of choices and not to leave anything blank or without consideration as this is going to increases the chance of selection in colleges. One can always change their preference for a choice filling option after the completion of the round. Students can modify/ delete/ add a new choice to their form. After the first round declaration, students can freeze their seat in the preferred college.
