Eligibility Criteria for BJMC
Students should have completed 12th with English subject with good grades. Students should have at least 50% from a recognized board. The entrance exam which i gave was IPU CET which is conducted by IPU University, students should get qualified in IPU CET then only you can get enrolled with KCC Institute of Legal and Higher Education. KCC Institute of Legal and Higher Education is recommended for Bachelor of Journalism and Communication.
Campus Placements
In KCC Institutes Greater Noida has a placement cell which has a placement director and team who work with many companies related to Journalism and Mass Communication Sector and conduct meetings to know vacancies and salary packages for BJMC students. Even many companies connect with placement cells to conduct placement drives. Average packages start from 4.5 – 5 lakh per annum and maximum package starts from 8 lakh per annum to 12 lakh per annum. The placement team conducts mock interviews so that the team understands where the student is lacking and how we can rectify it.

Fees and Scholarships
The course fee differs from batch to batch, but when I joined KCC Institute of Legal and Higher Education Greater Noida it was 72000 per year with examination fees. There are 3 types of scholarships provided by college. Merit scholarship which is based on 12th percentage, Sports Scholarship if a student has participated in zonal, national or state level competition. Even if you did not win in the competition, you will get a scholarship. Normally 50-60% of students get scholarships. If a student is looking for an education loan then all the documents are prepared by the college and provided to the student and then the student goes to the bank and applies for the education loan.
Academics and Faculties
The daily routine is we reach college by 8:45 am and our classes start around 9 am to 5 pm. There is a lunch break in between which is for an hour where we go to the cafeteria with our friends and eat homemade food and buy food from the cafeteria. We spend time talking to each other. Faculties are very friendly with students and faculties try their best to make students understand the concepts of the subject. The teaching method is a 2 way process where the teacher explains and the student asks questions. We learn concepts in the classroom and understand practicals in labs. I would recommend everyone to join KCC for these courses BCA, BBA, Bcom hons, BJMC and Law courses.
Hostel and Classrooms
There is a proper hostel where students can stay. There are many facilities provided with hostels like wifi, tv room, laundry and ironing services, gym, sports complex, every room has air conditioner or cooler and attached balcony to enjoy nature. There are 4 types of rooms, Single occupancy AC or Cooler, Double Occupancy, Triple Occupancy, Dorm Room AC. Minimum hostel fee per year is 85000 and maximum is 1,50,000 per year.
The classrooms are fully equipped with LCD projectors and labs are fully equipped with laptops and computers. There is a proper place to sit and study in the library and all the books related to the course and you can borrow books and take home and study and there’s a time period to return books.
College Life
There are many clubs on the campus like music club, dance club, drama club, photography club, theater club. There are many events conducted by college orientation day, freshers party, music fest, sports meet, fest. College life is vibrant and students can participate in the events they like and they can organize the events too. They are outbound learning trips conducted to many places near the college area.
