Machine learning (ML) is the study of algorithms related to equipment, computers and other devices that grows day by day and by the use of unlimited data. It is usually considered as a part of artificial intelligence. The use and development of computer devices which technologies where we can upload their language and then they are able to learn and adapt without following explicit instructions. By using algorithms and statistical models to analyse and draw inferences from patterns in data, ML has been one of the best course sin today’s times.
Looking at all these, many universities have started providing Btech in machine learning. Students have to check the list of colleges in each university where this course is offered. Students must also check eligibility criteria of each university.
Different universities have different eligibility rules and regulations, however there are certain essentials ones which are same for all. To be eligible for the B.Tech in machine learning course –
- The students should have cleared their 12th qualifying exam from a recognised Board from Science stream.
- The students must have cleared their exam from Science side and must have studied Physics and Mathematics as a mandatory subjects at the 12th
- The students must have secured at least 50% in their qualifying exam that is 12th
- Candidates belonging to SC/ST category will be eligible for admission on securing 45% marks in their 12th examinations.
- Also, specific university based examinations are required to be cleared to be considered as eligible for this course.
There are specific entrance that must be given for entrance for admission. It shall be noted that most of the universities consider the score IIT-JEE examination as a benchmark for admission thus the candidate may only give that particular examination and afterwards apply accordingly in various universities. This year the IIT exams will be conducted in 4 rounds and then one final JEE Advanced will be conducted.
