Abdul Kalam Technical University which is a government University, UPSEE is a state-level engineering entrance exam for students of Uttar Pradesh state. The entrance exam is an eligibility test for aspirants to take admission, especially engineering aspirants, seeking admission to professional courses offered by colleges affiliated to the AKTU. Apart from government aided colleges, there are plenty of  private engineering colleges also accept UPSEE score for admission to B.Tech programmes through counseling process and direct as well. IITs/NITs are mere tags now a days. I will sound like an idiot if I will say that IITs/NITs are not good. All I want to put that gone are the days when there were no option except IITs/NITs but now ther are many private institution which are giving tough competition to IITs/NITs in every aspects be it infrastructure, education, research, entrepreneurship, innovation and extra curiculur.
