KCC Institutes – B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering

Eligibility Criteria

I came to know about KCC Institutes through my cousin. He recommended that I check the campus. I submitted a form on the KCC website and received a call from the admissions team. I spoke to one of the admission officers and came to know about the eligibility for B.Tech ECE. I came to know that the college is approved by AICTE .I came to know that the college is affiliated to Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University and its state government university. I came to know that physics and math are compulsory subjects to enroll in B.Tech with chemistry or biology or biotechnology. After knowing the eligibility criteria, I wanted to visit the campus and check out the infrastructure. I had 90% in Physics, Chemistry and Math. 

Admission Process

I visited the campus and I was happy and excited to see the campus. The campus is full of colorful flowers and greenery with many students moving around. I went to the reception area and met the admission officer, she spoke to me and gave all the details and then she showed the complete campus, it was a campus tour. I had a few questions and she cleared them. I carried all my documents and showed her all the documents like 10th marksheet, 12th marksheet, aadhar card, passport size photo and then finally me and my mother decided that this the best college to take admission. Then we did all the formalities and got enrolled with KCC Institute of Technology and Management, Greater Noida.

Course Fee per Semester and Scholarships.

The actual fee per semester was 47,400. Fortunately I got a merit scholarship. If someone has a pcm 90% and above then the student gets a full scholarship for the first year. I came to know that we have to pay 20,000 for the first year, my mother was very proud and we paid the fee.

Scholarships

  1. Merit Scholarship
  • If someone has 70% – 74% and above in pcm then the student gets 15% scholarship
  • If someone has 75% -79% in pcm then student gets 25% scholarship
  • If someone has 80%-89% – then the student gets 50% scholarshipIf someone has 90% and above – then the student gets 100% scholarship, but has to pay 20k for 1 year. 
  1. Defense Scholarship

If a student’s parents are working or have worked in defense earlier , then the student gets a 10% scholarship every year. 

  1. Sports Scholarship

If a student has taken part in zonal, state, national level then students get scholarship.

Faculties

Faculties are very qualified and experienced in teaching us. They use many innovative teaching methods so that the students understand the concepts of the subject. Faculties are very experienced and some of them are friendly with us. I have written a research paper with my mam and published it at a conference. I got a certificate too.

Campus Placements

College has tie ups with many companies for placement drives. For interviews, the college conducts pre-placement training. So that we can perform well in the interviews.

  • English Communication Skills – There is audio visual lab where the faculties help students improve interpersonal skills
  • Personality Development Course – College conducts personality development courses so that every student becomes an excellent communicator and learns body language. The student is groomed so that they can perform well in interviews.
  • Innovation Centers – College has tie up with many companies so that we can learn the latest technologies practically. Technologies like Embedded System,Robotics, Automation, Internet of Things.Students also get certificates after the course.

Average packages start from 5 lakh per annum to 10 lakh per annum. Maximum packages go till 17-18 lakh per annum.
