Eligibility for b.tech After 12th
For pursuing B.Tech Programme, Candidates must pass Class 12 in the Science stream. The students should have Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics as the subjects in Class 12. Candidates who have studied only these subjects in Class 12 are eligible for B.Tech admission 2021.
In addition, students have to score at least 50% of marks in Class 12 to be eligible for B.Tech Programme in engineering colleges across the nation. However, students belonging to reserved categories such as SC/ ST will have a relaxation of up to 5% in the least qualifying marks.
For some of the engineering streams like Biomedical Engineering, candidates must have studied Biology as one of the main subjects in Class 12th.
