Students studying English hons have great opportunities in their career as the course helps you with a great understanding of the language both verbal and written.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s considered that English Hons requires a lot of study and research and projects with deadline right from the first year, hence it\u2019s a course which will demand a lot of your time but if you honestly focus on gaining knowledge, it has immense opportunities right after your graduation.<\/p>\n<p>Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, formerly Indraprastha University, is a state university located in Delhi, India. It was established in 1998 as a teaching-cum-affiliating university.<br \/>\nIndraprastha University now offers various programs and courses in U.G, PG, M.Phil, Phd and diploma. The university is graded \u2018A\u2019 by the NAAC.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s registration is open and the last date to register for various Common Entrance Test in IP University is 31st July 2021. The syllabus for CET usually remains the topics covered in 11<sup>th<\/sup> and 12<sup>th<\/sup> standard with some General topics.<\/p>\n<p>The main purpose of IP University\u2019s entrance test is to check the general and basic awareness of students\u2019 knowledge attained during their high school years. Based on the ranking of IP University students can further enroll in various colleges affiliated to IP University.<\/p>\n<p>A Common Entrance Test also takes place for students aspiring to do English Hons from IP University. The student\u2019s planning to do English Hons must prepare for this examination the topics of exam comprise of General English, Literary Aptitude and General Awareness. Candidates have to qualify <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kccitm.edu.in\/ilhe\/ipu-cet-2020\/\"><strong>IPU CET 2021<\/strong><\/a> to participate in the counselling.<br \/>\nThe eligibility criteria for IPU for its English Hons aspirants are given below:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidates should have passed in class 12 from recognized state and central government board<\/li>\n<li>They must have obtained at least 50% in Class 12.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The colleges for English Hons affiliated to IPU are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies, Delhi.<\/li>\n<li>Fairfield Institute of Management and Technology, New Delhi, Delhi.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For Updates on IP University\u2019s registration date, examinations and counselling dates the students must follow their official website ipu.ac.in.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>English hons is the study of English Literature from the western as well as Indian Origin.
