According to the CLAT 2026 notification sent by the Consortium of NLUs on July 20, 2025, the registration link for the exam was made available starting at 8 PM on August 1, 2025, and the CLAT 2026 exam date is set for December 7. The CLAT 2026 registration last date, as per the notification, is set for October 31, 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n

The CLAT 2026 exam date fell on the same day as of AILET 2026 exam date, giving a tough time for the aspirants of both exams. This created a grave sense of distress among applicants. After much consideration, the NLU, in an attempt to close the gap, delayed the AILET 2026 exam by a week, which is now rescheduled to December 14, 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n

The CLAT 2026 registration form, a nationwide admission exam, is available to law students at the undergraduate and graduate levels.<\/span><\/p>\n

Approximately 70,000 law students who want to pursue a career in law following class XII attend, making it a significant event on the legal education calendar. This exam, which is administered by the Consortium of NLUs, grants admission to 26 National Law Universities (NLUs).<\/span><\/p>\n

There are 120 questions in all, divided into five categories, and each right response is worth +1, while each wrong response is worth \u00bc.<\/span><\/p>\n

CLAT 2026 Exam Date vs. AILET 2026: The Conflict That Was Averted<\/span><\/h2>\n

The CLAT 2026 exam date and AILET 2026 exam date initially caused a great deal of concern. They were both planned on December 7, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Since this was the first time in history that the two most important legal admission tests were conflicting, it caused anxiety among those aspiring to become lawyers.<\/span><\/p>\n

CLAT 2026 Registration Date<\/span><\/h2>\n
