All those students who are eligible according to IPU guidelines can appear for IPU CET BBA 2023. The eligibility criteria are as follows-
Age Criteria:
- For UG courses, the maximum age limit for the entering candidates is 21 years.
- For PG courses, the minimum age limit is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 35 years.
- For Bachelor of Vocation, applying candidate should not be beyond 45 years of age.
NATIONALITY
Candidates applying for IPU CET 2023 have to hold any one of the mentioned nationality-
- Indian National
- Overseas Indian national
- Nepal Citizens
Eligibility criteria for Graduate Courses
Candidates applying for IPU CET in order to take admission in graduate courses like B.com Hons, BCA, or BBA will have to attain a minimum aggregate of 50% in their 10+2 examination/ senior school certificate examination of CBSE (One language and four elective subjects) or an examination equivalent to that.
OR
Pre-university examination of an Indian School or College. (Two years after 10 years of schooling).
This year around 2 lakh students appeared for IPU CET BBA 2022. Almost everyone has qualified for admission.
Total Number of applicants for IPU CET on average range between 70000-80000 applications per year. According to the official IPU CET website, a total of 1,09,468 applications were received in the current year 2023. This is a significant increase from the number of applications received for IPU CET 2022, which was 89,705.
What’s new in IPU CET 2023?
On June 27, 2023, IPU CET seat allocation results for the MBA, BA LLB, BBA LLB, LLM, and B.Tech programs will be released. The choice-filling period ended on June 16, 2023.
There are more than 2000 seats for BBA program in GGSIPU colleges and admission will be based on IPU CET results.
From June 19 through June 23, 2023, you can register for counseling for a variety of PG programs, including MA, M.Sc., and M.Ed.To apply for IPU CET counseling, applicants can visit the official website, ipu.admissions.nic.in.
IPU CET 2023 Result for various courses was released on June 20, 2023, on the official website, ipu.admissions.nic.in. Candidates have access to a PDF version of their results.
IPU CET seat allocation
Candidates who have cleared the exam will have their seats assigned for the IPU CET. To participate in the seat allocation procedure, candidates must register for IPU CET Counselling. For some programs, including B.Tech, medicine, and law, IPU CET 2023 counseling will be conducted online. While “Spot Allotment” will only be conducted in offline mode for all courses, offline counseling will be held for courses like BBA, BA, and B.Ed.
The outcomes of the sliding and spot counseling rounds will be announced by GGSIPU University following the three rounds of IPU CET Seat Allotment 2023.
IPU CET 2023 Seat Allotment is likely to be done based on the ranks given in the merit list, but if a candidate does not register, fill out the options, or pay the seat allotment costs then those applicants will not be allotted seats in any program.
Rank-ordered merit lists are created by the institution based on how well students performed on the IPU CET exam.
Candidates who meet the requirements must pay the cost and freeze their seats within the allotted period in order to claim them.
