Sliding Round is being conducted to fill up the vacant seats. The dates are yet to be notified for the sliding round. In general, students are advised to fully participate and focus on the three basic online counseling rounds and decide for the college to freeze the seat at least by the final round. However, if the applicant is not satisfied with the given choices sliding round is the best option to apply but only the seats are vacant.
Que. Who are eligible for the sliding round?
Ans. Apart from the basic requirements of counseling rounds:
- There should not be any seat froze by the candidate in the previous rounds of counseling.
- One should not withdraw from the counseling process.
- The fee payment of INR 40000 has been submitted to the authorities.
In the given conditions that have been fulfilled, students can participate in the sliding round for the available seats in the colleges.
There are certainly fewer choices in the sliding round and limited students are eligible but a great opportunity to get a good college. After the sliding round of online seat allotment, the candidate, if allotted a seat/retained the seat from earlier allotment/upgraded to higher choices/preferences, can generate Provisional Admission Slip along with the Enrollment number.
Que. Can we withdraw after the sliding round in IPU?
Ans. You can only get these fees refunded if you have not frozen this seat you were allotted to and if you have not withdrawn the seat you will not get the refund.
