Guru Gobind Singh Indraprsatha University is a state university in Delhi and it is one of the best for undergraduate, graduate and PHD courses. The University was formed in 1998 and it come under Delhi Govt. IPU got popular initially because of the BBA program they offered to students. It was noticed that it was one of the best courses to study under Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. Although other prominent couses under GGSIPU like Btech, Bcom Hons, BJMC &BCA are also very popular because of its curriculum, faculty, & placements.
BBA – Bachelor of Business Administration is a three year undergraduate degree course which gives you a clear understanding of business oriented concepts. The university is very famous because the placement it offers under BBA, IPU is globally a recognized university which means its degree has great value if you go to study MBA or sit in a placement right after BBA.
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University takes admissions based on Common Entrance Test. The eligibility criteria for almost every undergraduate course are 10+2 from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks and must have studied English as its core subject. To get into any college under GGSIPU a student must have scored at least 50% in class 12th and cleared the IPU CET. The admissions to the colleges take place based on the CET merit score.
IPU CET exam is a 100 marks paper and it is an online exam (computer based test). The duration of the exam is 150 minutes. The questions are multiple choice questions. For every right answer a student can earn 4 points and a wrong answer can deduct 1 point, which is why it is important to prepare for the exam is advance and carefully select your choices.
The process for taking admission to GGSIPU is first the students have to register on the official website http://www.ipu.ac.during registration you will be required to fill in your details and enter a few documents. Then there is a payment of Rs 1200/- that should be paid. Based in your registration, you receive the details of your examination date, center, admit card etc. to your email address. Students must fill in all their required information carefully. After the examination, the answer sheet gets uploaded; you can see that using your log in credentials. The students are then sent their final scores and rank which can help them understand the college options that are available to them. After the scores are released, the students can proceed with the counselling rounds. Under the counselling process, the students can either take the colleges allotted by the university or can take direct admissions to the colleges under IPU, or they can wait for further rounds by floating there choices. While the IPU counselling process takes around 4-6 weeks, it is interesting to watch the options allocated to you for admission.
This year the application forms released on 4 March 2022 and the last date to apply for the examination was 30 April 2022. The examination dates are not out yet but the same will be communicated on the IPU website well before the examinations so the students can prepare themselves. It is most likely that the IPU CET will take place in the month if June this year.
