Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, formerly Indraprastha University is a state government university located in Delhi, Dwarka. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University conducts IPU CET exam every year so that students can apply to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in colleges which are affiliated to GGSIPU. Full form of IPU CET is (Indraprastha University common entrance test ). Students join engineering, law, administration,computer application, journalism, mass communication, management, nursing , medical and many more fields. There are 120 colleges affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University of New Delhi. Out of 120 colleges, 35 colleges are government institutes affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi. The remaining 85 colleges are self financed institutes affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The colleges which are affiliated to IPU offer multiple undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD courses in multiple fields like engineering, management, nursing, medical, finance and many more.
IPU CET 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit – Student’s age for undergraduate course should be 18-21 years
- Qualification – Students should have completed 12th with English from a recognized board.
- Marks – Students must have scored at least 55% marks in the entrance examination to be eligible for admission in undergraduate courses like BBA/ BCA/BJMC/BCom Hons

The examination is conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University every year. The exam is conducted once in a year so that students can join colleges which are affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.The entrance examination of IPU CET is conducted for candidates seeking admissions into various UG and PG programmes which are offered by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.The examination is conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University every year. The exam is conducted once in a year so that students can join colleges which are affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The exam is conducted in English only. Students can register online on the IPU website and fill the application form and pay the application fee, which is INR 1200. Mode of payment is online. After the student appears for an exam. When the result of IPU CET is announced, every student checks whether he/she is qualified in the exam or not. The students who are qualified get enrolled in the college through two ways, IPU Counselling and Direct Admission.
