CUCET 2022 Exam Highlights

To get admission in the top central universities of India, students have to clear the Central University Common Entrance Test, CUCET, conducted by the UGC. In such a situation, the question is being seen in the minds of the scholars that how can one get admission in Central Universities through Common Entrance Test.With the help of this entrance test, one can get admission in central universities like Delhi University (Delhi University, DU), Jawaharlal Nehru University (Jawaharlal Nehru University, JNU), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Visva Bharati University. The test will be organized by National Testing Agency (NTA). NTA will also conduct the test in different languages like English, Hindi, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu among numerous other languages. If we go according to media reports, then this CUCET will be conducted in the months of June-July.

What is CUCET?

Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) is such an test through which you get a chance to get admission in 18 central universities of the country. To take admission in Central University, not only CUCET test has to be given but also other entrance test for other courses has to be given by the university. To take admission in Central University, applicants first have to fill the test application form.

The decision was taken under the new education policy

The Union Education Ministry had earlier made an announcement that admission to universities would be on the base of a common entrance test. The Union Education Ministry had constituted a commission to look into the modalities of CUCET for admission to all scale or you can say graduation courses in proposed central universities under the supervision of NEP (National Policy on Education) 2020. The schedule for Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) 2022 is likely to be conducted in June 2022. The enrollment for the test will start on the sanctioned official website cucet.nta.nic.in. This time, more applicants are likely to appear in CUCET.

• Types of question will be MCQ and duration of the entrance test is 2 hours.
• Negative marking will be there for every incorrect attempt.Questions will be divided into sections. Part A will contain 25 Questions and there will be 75 questions in part B
• Through CUCET offered courses will be Integrated, UG, PG and research programs.
